HISTORY

The Marowa Community Health Organization was started on 5th July 2008 as single project at Asego Area in Homa Bay. The project was a brainchild of five (5) Visionary founders who were driven by a passion to get something meaningful to do so as to address the problems of diseases, illiteracy, unemployment,  poverty and soco-economic and gender disparities.

Homa Bay Community Library is a project of Marowa Community Health Organization which is in the process of mobilizing community and resources to establish this very essential institution in the District.

The organization membership is above 25 and many more professionals are getting involved as volunteers to in various capcities to help realize the dream.  At present, this humble organization is working towards establishing a Community Library. We appeal to all well-wishers to support the vision, whether through ideals, skills, materials or financial resources.
